Tasman Environmental Markets (TEM) has officially become a member of the International Air Transport Association (IATA) Strategic Partnerships Program, a decision which further strengthens TEM’s relationships with key aviation industry stakeholders and helps to drive sustainable progress through collaborative innovation.
As a leader in carbon offsetting and environmental solutions, this marks a significant milestone in TEM’s climate action journey. TEM is dedicated to driving sustainability across industries, and joining this program aligns directly with TEM’s mission to create a more sustainable future. This includes advancing TEM’s aviation solutions across both calculation and securing supply of CORSIA-eligible credits from the market and through our pipeline of project development, including our registered cookstoves project in Papua New Guinea, which is currently finalising eligibility.
The program provides a future-focused forum for airlines and key stakeholders in the aviation industry to collaborate, share insights and drive continuous improvement.
“Joining the IATA Strategic Partnerships Program (SPP) provides TEM with access to valuable industry insights, formalised opportunities to collaborate with airlines and key players, which ultimately supports us to better understand and service the needs of our aviation customers,” said Adrian Enright, CEO, TEM.
Established in 1990, the Strategic Partnerships Program now consists of a global community of over 480 members, closely collaborating on the improvement of aviation standards and practices. Over the years this program has held a strong focus on the sustainable future of the aviation industry. As a member, TEM will not only gather resources to support our customers, but also share our expertise and support emerging sustainability initiatives across the industry.
“Increasing our involvement in the industry through the SPP, also places TEM in a strong position to have our insights and perspectives heard, providing us with an opportunity to accelerate our decarbonisation efforts. We look forward to supporting the IATA member base and engaging with the opportunities the program has to offer,” Enright explained.
